Bra Style Guide
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF BRA?
1. T-shirt Bra
T-shirt bras are seam free which gives them a fixed shape and smooth appearance under clothes. With a t-shirt bra there is no need to worry about the lines of your bra showing. They can come unpadded or padded to suit your taste and are a great everyday option as they work well with most clothes.
2. Balcony Bra
A balconette bra, more commonly known as a balcony bra is a very popular bra style. As it offers high levels of support, coverage and works well with most outfits. Balcony bras have wider straps which give a lifting effect.
3. Plunge Bra
Plunge bras are often seen as a great option due to them being supportive whilst also giving you amazing cleavage. They give your boobs a lift and the V shaped style makes them perfect for low cut outfits as you won’t see the bra poking through.
4. Half Cup Bra
Half cup bras also called demi-cup bras are known to be a cleavage boosting bra option. Although similar in style to a balcony bra they differ in that they offer less coverage. Also half cup bras give your boobs a lift through providing extra support at the bottom and are a great option for those who lack volume at the top of their boobs.
5. Strapless Bra
Strapless bras are designed to be worn without straps, they often include silicone or rubber lining to prevent it slipping down and to provide extra support. They are best for off the shoulder outfits or outfits where you don’t want your bra strap showing.
